Account and Data Deletion

Settld users can request account deletion, account closure, or deletion of personal data by contacting our support and data protection team.
How to Request Deletion
Email support@getsettld.co.uk from the email address linked to your Settld account. Include your name, organisation, and whether you want to delete your user account, close an organisation account, or request deletion of specific personal data.
Identity Verification
We may need to verify your identity before actioning a deletion request. If your account is managed by a logistics company or fleet operator, we may also need to contact that organisation because it may be the data controller for driver records held in Settld.
What We Delete
Where deletion is available, we will delete or anonymise account profile data, login access, uploaded documents, notification preferences, and related personal data held in active systems.
What We May Retain
Some records may need to be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, compliance, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, audit, or fleet-safety purposes. Examples include payroll records, audit logs, signed contracts, compliance records, inspection records, and PCN or speeding fine records. Where retention is required, access will be limited and the data will be retained only for the required period.
Response Time
We aim to respond within one month of receiving a verified request. If a request is complex or we receive multiple requests, we may extend the response period by up to two further months and will explain the reason for the extension.
